Can we reserve sunbeds for our holiday dates in advance?

  • Unfortunately we do not offer reservations as we operate on a first come first served basis.

Can we reserve sunbeds in advance if we pay in advance?

  • We cannot accept payments in advance for services at this time.

Why don't you offer reservations for sunbeds? We want to know that our spot is guaranteed.

  • Due to limited availability of sunbeds we prefer to operate on a first come first served basis. This gives all our guests an equal opportunity to secure a sunbed or beach chair for the day.

Where can I park?

  • Free street parking is available along Ocean Blvd. A large parking lot with 600 spaces is located right next to Monty’s, and costs about $2 per hour.

Do you offer food?

  • Yes, you can see the menu here.

What is up with the music?

  • The beach is designed as a place for people who love dogs and love a good time. We believe music is essential for a good time and it creates a vibe that we want to convey.  Our music system is not loud but it is placed in such a way that it can be heard throughout the beach which some people may find confusing. This is not to be confused with loudness.

My dog is in heat, will there be problems with other dogs?

  • As per beach policies, dogs in heat should not come to the beach as unwanted behaviour may disturb guests.

I want to keep my dog on a leash, can I do this?

  • Of course you can! Just be aware that others may freely approach you and your dog.

Can my dog enter the water?

  • Monty’s is beachside, but the water is a short 200-foot walk to Rosie’s Dog Beach, where pups can also roam off-leash, and enter the water.

Are there events or activities for dogs/owners?

  • Yes! We regularly host dog-friendly events like Paint & Whine, Clay & Whine, Salsa Sundays, and seasonal holiday celebrations with discounts and activities.

Do you have any breed restrictions?

  • No! We welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes, but ask that all dogs are well-behaved and socialized.

Can I bring toys for my dog?

  • You’re welcome to bring toys, but please supervise play to ensure everyone has fun safely.

Are kids welcome?

  • Yes! Our beach is family-friendly, but we ask parents to supervise kids around dogs for safety.
