Our beach is just outside a pretty marina ‘lučica Podvorska’, 5 minutes from the centre of town, on foot.
Crikvenica is the meeting point of the sea, the green hinterland of the Vinodol valley, and the closest seaside destination for continental Croatia. As well as being home to several galleries, museums, authentic local cuisine and wineries, Crikvenica boasts a tradition in tourism that is over 130 years long. It originates from health tourism which is still strong here to this day due to the crystal clear sea, fresh air and 6kms of uninterrupted promenade that is to be enjoyed on foot or bicycle.
As parking is difficult to find right next to the beach in July and August we recommend that you use the main city parking which is just a 2 minute walk away. On your first day pop down to the bank or exchange office and get yourself enough coins to cover your daily cost of parking. (You can also download the “Bmove” application if you’d like to pay with your phone.) On average parking is 0,80€ (6kn)to 1,30€ (10kn) per hour.
