Vienna

Vienna’s story:

I was just 14 when I saw the cutest thing ever in my neighbour’s garden. I had never seen a puppy that cute ever in my life. Because I was getting on the bus I told the old lady please save her for me until I come back but she didn’t and sadly another family took the puppy. Of course, I was so disappointed and I told my mother, so to comfort me she got two kittens. Just a week later the family who took the puppy called to say she was available and we went to get her straight away! This was my first puppy and I quickly fell in love with her. We named her Vienna, but we were so inexperienced we thought she was a boy for the first month and called her Dexter! She was a pekingese mix and she had a lovely personality. We spent the next 16 years growing up together and she was with me through all of highschool, college, for my first real job, most of my trips, we took a bus, train, plane and many many car rides together. She saw me get married and have kids. She was my best friend and everyone used to ask where she was if I showed up without her. Vienna was the reason I started my successful dog hotel business which later became Monty’s dog beach. Unfortunately she crossed the rainbow bridge a few months before Monty’s Dog Beach started but she is a major part of it and she will always have a special place in my heart. – Ruby
