Rules

We have an off-leash-allowed policy and you need to be sure that you and your dog are comfortable with that. What can be challenging about that is different types of unwanted behaviour which should be prevented rather than avoided. This is why we have some rules and we kindly ask you to read this section carefully so that you, other guests and your dogs can have a great time.

We kindly ask you to speak to our staff calmly about any problems or complaints you may have as abusive behaviour, raised voices and swearing are unacceptable here and guests behaving this way will be asked to leave.

Dogs

  1. No aggressive behaviour will be tolerated, guests with aggressive dogs should not come to the beach and will be asked to leave.
  2. No sick dogs or dogs in heat are allowed at the beach at any time.
  3. Dogs should be kept close to owners at all times.

Umbrellas, Sunbeds & Cabanas

  1. Umbrellas, sunbeds and cabanas will be rented to you on a per-use basis. If a staff member notices that you are seated on a sunbed or cabana they will approach you assuming you would like to rent it.
  2. Unfortunately we are not able to take reservations or accept payment in advance.
  3. We do not offer hourly rates and our prices apply to the whole day.
  4. We do not offer refunds in the case of rain.
  5. Guests must put down towels before using sunbeds and cabanas.

General

  1. Guests enter and use the beach and facilities at their own risk, the management will not accept liability for any accidents or interactions among dogs or humans.
  2. No tents allowed on the beach! Private umbrellas and tents (max. size 150x150x90cm) may be placed above the beach in areas designated on the map.
  3. Please use a towel when sitting with your dog. Please do not sit when you are wet! The seating area cannot be rented, please remove your belongings once you finish so that the next guests may be seated. Please do not move the furniture without the staff’s permission.
  4. The seating area may not be used as a substitute for renting beach equipment.
  5. Please use the toilet appropriately and clean up after using it. Please lock the toilet and return the key.
  6. Use of the human shower costs 1€ (7,53kn) and is operated by the staff, please ask at the bar. The dog shower costs 0,50€ (3,77kn) per day, we kindly ask you to pay this upon arrival.
  7. Please pick up after your dog!! If your dog urinates, please pour some water on the spot. If you do not know what to do, or do not have the right equipment please ask staff for help.
  8. Please sort litter appropriately. No dog waste in ordinary bins!!

Tips

Going on holiday can be nerve racking in itself, but the prospect of a first time holiday with your dog is understandably daunting. Here are some tips to make it a little bit easier for you.

  1. Bring some water shoes for yourself and for your dog.
  2. If your dog gets easily excited and distracted, buy a 5 or 10m long leash so you have better control and so that you can swim with him comfortably.
  3. Remember to pack medication for you and your dog. Band-aids are always good to have and some anti-septic cream, in case of scratches.
  4. On your first day pop down to the bank or exchange office and get yourself enough coins to cover your daily cost of parking. Please check the specific parking possibilities for the beach you are visiting in Destinations.
  5. Cash is always a good idea. Although we do accept cards, we also accept payment in euros.
